Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) are a growing phenomenon in the re/insurance and capital markets.  They are having a significant impact on the financing and transfer of risk and are instruments and transactions that those involved in re/insurance need to understand.  Our distinguished panel will consider and debate the following questions:

•    What are Insurance Linked Securities and why are they used?
•    Who invests in ILS and why?
•    Why are ILS of interest to sponsors/cedants?
•    What are the risks of ILS and how are they modelled?
•    What is the future for ILS?
