Carlo Taczalski and Hamish Fraser will draw on recent authorities such as Tyson International Company v GIC Re India Corporate Member [2026] EWCA Civ 40 to examine the construction and interpretation of jurisdiction agreements in insurance and reinsurance contracts, and the practical and strategic considerations that arise when seeking or resisting anti-suit injunctions. The seminar will consider current trends and practical lessons for insurers, reinsurers, brokers and their lawyers.
Carlo Taczalski
Carlo is a leading insurance, reinsurance and commercial specialist. He has extensive experience of a wide range of insurance and reinsurance related disputes including D&O, PI, PL & EL, Medical, and Product Liability. In addition to advising on and acting in ‘pure’ coverage disputes, many of Carlo’s instructions are at the intersection of (re)insurance law and his broader commercial specialisms, including jurisdiction/cross-border disputes, civil fraud and professional negligence (particularly for brokers and coverholders).
