Marcia Cicarelli is a Partner at Demarest Advogados and Head of the Insurance, Reinsurance, Health, and Private Pension practice area. She holds a master’s degree in civil law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a specialization in Insurance and Reinsurance Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). Marcia has more than 25 years of experience advising on a wide range of insurance matters, including contract review, product development, operations, and claims adjustment.

Lucas Nascimento is an Associate at Demarest Advogados in the Insurance, Reinsurance, Health, and Private Pension practice. He earned his Master of Law (LL.M.) in Insurance Law from Queen Mary University of London and has a specialization in civil procedure law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie. With over 10 years of experience, Lucas’ practice focuses on insurance consultancy, large risk claims, legal opinions, and policy drafting, as well as litigation matters within the insurance industry
