Paul Brady was appointed Head of Market Conduct at Lloyd’s in December 2015 where he is responsible for overseeing managing agents’ compliance with the Lloyd’s minimum conduct standards and for the management of the Lloyd’s complaints function.
Paul joined Lloyd’s in 1995 as a member of the Legal Department where his work focused on contentious and regulatory matters. He also specialized in the regulation of intermediaries, UK brokers and agents. From 2014 he also led the new Conduct Standards team which has been overseeing the roll-out and the implementation of the conduct minimum standards which are aimed at putting the fair treatment of Lloyd’s policyholders at the heart of managing agents’ activities.
Paul read law at Oxford University before being called to the Bar of England & Wales. Paul re-qualified as a solicitor and is also an accredited mediator.
