Winner of the 2023 BILA Book Prize
The 2023 BILA book prize was announced on 15 November 2023 in the Old Library at Lloyd’s, prior to a BILA lecture by Professor Michael Sturley of the University of Texas Law School on the US Supreme Court marine insurance case of Great Lakes v Raiders Retreat.
The prize-winning book is “Cyber Risks Insurance” written by Celso De Azevedo, a Barrister, practising at Enterprise Chambers. Alison Green, Chair of the BILA Charitable Trust, congratulated the author who attended the meeting in person along with his publishing team. When announcing the winner Alison referred to the challenge presented by the ever-increasing numbers of cyber attacks and the very helpful role this book provides by guiding readers through the law and practice relating to cyber risks insurance and by including some useful insurance market wordings.
BILA Members can order the book by calling +44 (0)345 600 9355 or order online and receive your exclusive 15% discount using the code BILA2023. Scan the QR code for more details. Offer valid to 13th December 2023.
